This old slate mine founded in 1906 was very long on my todo list. The decline is so strong that the place is a ruin by know, beautiful to photograph. But watch your steps it's very dangerous to walk around! Despite the chaos inside and outside there are still lots of old machenery to be found. The further away lying 170 meter deep mine produced in her glory years more than a million slates a year. The factory customated the tiles for their clients.

Since 1995 the quarry/factory was left abandoned. Today it seems like the place is partly demolished or is going to be!
